Ben is now officially a middle-schooler! He graduated happily and is now looking forward to a locker in middle school! I don't remember having moving-on ceremonies when I left elementary school, or kindergarten, but oh well, it's not bad to watch your kid walk across a stage, is it?
Now that Ben is grown, I've replaced him with a new baby in my life. Crew! Crew is my neice's son and is the most mashable baby ever! Here he is hanging out with me and Kelly (his grandma - my sister.)
He is practicing his standing here. Taylor calls this his SPED look. LOL
He likes hanging with his Grandma and watching his Dad and Grandpa play Wii. 
He has an affinity for his dad's pinky. When he can't get the pinky he substitutes his own fist. I love how he wraps his arm over his head. He's hanging out with us while we play cards here. 
Well fed and down for a nap. These card games last forever!

Sunday was my birthday. I love that my house is a comfortable hang out. Here's Mike and Eric and Frosty after a card game and turkey dinner.
We went out to play some Adventure Golf with friends on Friday night. Cody and Benjamin provided extra obstacles for us.

A HUGE part of Emergency Management is exercising our plans. I recently took part in a mass casualty exercise with 750 people, 45 agencies and 150 victim/volunteers. Of course, being in charge of the volunteers MY kids had to participate! Here they are, ready to be transported to the tornado site.
Of course, "Thriller" must be done when blood abounds!
