4 more months!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, we have 4 months left in Malaysia! U.S.A here we come!

Our lasts:
-Filling out taxes overseas
-Temple recommend overseas
-Commissary order from Japan
-Soccer season
-Marcus performance
-Hosting of international students in our home for competitions
-International auto insurance premium
-Prescription refill through the mail
-Ordering shoes without trying them on
-Waiting until 11 o’clock at night to call and see why the above didn’t work

As you can see, I’m getting punchy. But it’s a good thing. : )

Things I am looking forward to:
-Purchasing an iron, hair dryer, crock pot, rice cooker and not needing an adapter for each one.
-Not needing a transformer to cut hair, plug in the VCR or TV, Xbox, tape rewinder, blender, waffle iron, or Panini press.
-Being able to drive at 6pm. No traffic at 8am
-Having a medical rep come to my house and give me samples.
-Trying on clothes and shoes before purchasing, and giving them back without paying shipping if they don’t fit.
-Being able to get prescriptions without faxing the Rx to the insurance, and the pharmacy, and then calling both and explaining to each what I need it for. Then waiting 1 week for someone else to determine I need it before the pharmacy will fill it.
-Being able to see one doctor for an issue.
-No geckos in my bedroom, living room, office, doorjams (smashed), kitchen...
-No bars on my windows.
-Only 1 set of keys for my house
-Getting my pork, beef and chicken in the same place.
-Watching Chuck earlier than 11pm on Saturday night.
-Not having to store pasta in the freezer

Things I’ll miss:
-The rain.
-The warm weather.
-The grocery lady that comes to my house twice a week.
-Indian food.
-The idea of being different.
-My kids having jobs that are cool.
-The Youth at church.
-Marcus.
-Free diplomatic visas.

We’re planning a trip to Vietnam for our last big ‘fling’ in Asia. We’ll be there 11 days and travel from North (Hanoi) to South (Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon). It’s going to be awesome. A great lady from work invited us for the adventure. We have our tickets purchased and our time requested from work. It’s going to be awesome. Look for pics in April as we return April 5th. The pic above is of Halong Bay, where we’ll spend a day or two, hopefully sleeping on a boat!
