Our family has a tradition of carving a pumpkin per person for Halloween. This year we invited the Ovards, Melchiors and Grandma Meyers to join us! Here is cousin Logan looking up patterns.
Grandma Meyers and Aunty Kelly joined in the fun too.
Ooh, sorry!~ This is a bad pic, but it shows the diligence of Eric and Casey in their pumpkin lobotomies. Aka cleaning out the pumpkin!
Kelly is giving Mike helpful instructions, Taylor is looking on whilst Eric proceeds with gutting and Grandma Meyers is on the phone - of course!

He got into the character so much he even replicated bed-head!
I had orange and black striped eyelashes! So festive! I also wore a flashing pumpkin necklace and proclaimed myself a flasher!
Casey had Greek Goddess eyes. She did them herself and proclaimed she was soooo glad she didn't wear eye makeup every day! Both she and I really wanted to rub our eyes the entire evening!
Casey was a Greek goddess, and wore a costume I made her 6 years ago. Yes, 6 years ago! It was looser on her now then at that time!
I know, not Halloweeny - but Ben went on his first Scout campout. He was so excited to get a knife! Marcus helped him pick it out. Ben tested it on a piece of paper. It worked. At camp he carved sticks and more sticks. Next? Another paper test!
So what's the verdict Mr. Crew? Yep! It's great!
