What have you done for me lately?

I know, I've been remiss in my blogging duties. As usual I have a good excuse or two. Or three. Or four.

The kids wanted to do an Easter video for Mark. We'll see if I can move it to the right place in the blog. :) (I couldn't please go to YouTube and see the video on your own). You can see more of their videos on YouTube. Look for zekybomb. That's Jordan's account.

This picture is of Marcus' acting abilities.

Easter dinner with the family! Ben and Cody are having a seizure.

Yes, the candy started early that day. Even I am glowing. :)

A clean closet under the stairs. Do you have one? I do. :)

Of course there are food pictures! These are homemade Girl Scout Samoa cookies. Pretty yummy tasting. Not so nice looking. :)

Frosty was put in the kitchen while we shampooed the carpet in the family room. He thought he had died and gone to heaven. Normally he's yelled at for being in the kitchen. Now he has the prime location!

I had many helpers to get the house ready for the market. This is Dave Adams. He's my home teacher. He and his wife, Melanie stopped asking if I needed help and just showed up a few days. They discovered my lists and away they went!

Benjamin took almost an hour to get himself ready for Urkel Day at school. I think he did a fabulous job. He even went online and studied the walk!

Easter morning. They say don't plant before Mother's day. This was one week before. Now we know.

Another friend helped me get mulch for the yard. Jordan and Casey helped unload 1 1/2 tons of it. Then Jordan, Casey and Ben helped put it in beds all over the yard. The yard looks fabulous and my back only took about 3 days to get back to normal! I told Roy I wanted to give him something to thank him for his help. He politely declined. Until I told him it was bread. Then he quickly agreed. :)

More food. This is Marcus' "Sky Burger".

On Saturday we had a photographer come and take pictures of the house for the listing. I am so thankful for photos! It is really helping us look for homes in VA long before we ever get there. I was a huge proponent of photos of our house, as I know how important they are to me. You can see the results of the photos in the post before this. I think they are pretty fantastic. But then I'm a little prejudiced. :)

After still shots Alan would take a 360 of the room. You can see those also in the post before. They were actually still shots stitched together. Pretty cool.

Frosty practiced his Zoolander Blue Steel pose all day, hoping to get into the shots.

Don't go to Costco when you are hungry. I'm just saying.

Ben finally took a shower. How were we to know that he was held together by dirt?

Casey tried on prom dresses.

And found a princess one! Ignore that mom in the mirror. Best of all - besides a darling dress? Casey discovered the wonders of Goodwill - and $7 prom dresses!

Sunday morning. Casey and Marcus availed themselves of warm tile floors and large mirrors. I'll miss these two when they go off to college.

41 days until Mark is home!!
