First you should know that Ben told me I looked "scrumptious" this week. It does a mom good to hear compliments from her kids. :)
So - on to my chores!
First, Ben has to do conditioning for football practice. He has to do 50 pushups, 50 sit ups, throw the football 50 times every day. I had to teach him what a proper pushup was. The butt was moving WAY more than the arms. :) But he finally got it, for at least the last set of 10. Way to go Ben!

We have pizza night almost every Friday night. Crew (my great-nephew) is walking now. He decided to sit with Ben and Cody. He laughed when they laughed, gorged himself on pizza and in general just enjoyed his time with the boys. :) He decided to walk away just as I was snapping this shot.

Marcus is looking to buy himself a car. He first started out interested in Lexus', BMWs and Jaguars. We went to the Lemon Lot on the Air Force Academy and found a limo! But it wasn't in good shape. Better luck next time Marcus! Now he's looking at Lincoln Continentals. Thanks for the suggestion Uncle Tim. :S

Marcus is also working at Costco. Want a great hot dog? He's your man! I get to see him at work almost weekly - due to my shopping duties. :0)

Now I have found that when my kids are supposed to be working - on homework, housework or whatever - it helps if I'm not squirreled away on my computer. So - I take the time to bake! I bake our bread almost every week. Some weeks it goes faster than others.

When I make the chocolate chip bread it goes the fastest. The kids have become experts on how good the bread will be. Today for example Casey pointed out to the boys how thin I had rolled the dough - meaning it would be LOADED with chocolate when it baked up. :) The art of learning in the kitchen!

I still cook almost every night. This night - nachos for dinner!

I'm experiementing with how to best distribute the cinnamon chips in my bread. One loaf I just kneaded it into the dough. Another loaf I wrapped a thin layer around the dough - to give it a smooth finish.
This was this past Saturday's baking results - Carrot cake, Cinnamon chip loaves and Cinnamon chip, nut and fruit loaves.

This was Sunday. (Yes, the next day!) I still needed chocolate chip loaves to send to Mark, and Italian Easter bread.
