Kelly and I took a walk in a neighborhood that bordered the Atlantic and a jetty.
These are our wanderings...
The social life was laid back. Wouldn't it be great to sit with your friend, enjoy the breeze, watch the boats go by in such a great place? I think so too. But Kelly would NEVER let me just sit. I'm just saying.
I thought these leaves were interesting. I didn't use anything to give you a scale of their size, but the leaves are about the size of my palm. I think they look kinds of like eucalyptus leaves.

There were lots of dogs on our walk. A lot of them looked like this one. I decided if you were living in Palm Beach you had to have this dog. I told Claudia she had the wrong kind. But she lives in a suburb, so I guess she's safe.

Funny story: Kelly and I walked a long way down the beach (in another post) before we got to the 'Hood. Once we got to the 'hood I put my Crocs on and we began the walk that makes up this blog. Our sidewalk dead-ended and we began our trek back to the beach and hotel. About 30 feet back towards the hotel I panicked. I was missing something! I knew I had been carrying something, and now I didn't have it! Oh, where did I put it?! Where was it? Was there any chance of finding it? I remembered quickly it was my Crocs. I had been holding my Crocs and now I didn't have them! My mind began racing, "Where had I put them? Why had I put them down?" and so on. As I began to frantically look around I looked down. The Crocs were on my feet. :) I still giggle about it.
Shuffleboard. In a backyard!

The good thing was obviously my blood sugars were low. With this biological excuse, Kelly HAD to slow down on our way back to the hotel, and she graciously gave way for me to walk on the hardest sand (less effort expended).
Silly me.
