Eastern visit

My apologies. This post has been a while in the making.
In September I was able to go to Maryland for a class for work. While there I took the opportunity to visit Mark - who I had not seen for about 2 months, since starting his new job in Virginia. It was a WONDEFUL vist. Here are some of our adventures, in no particular order.
Of course we had to visit D.C. Mark lives very close so we availed ourselves of the opportunity. It was a beautiful day and we walked all over the Mall.

We bought a day pass for me on the metro. Mark uses the metro quite a bit. Yes, I'm tired. It had been a long week of classes when I finally got to Mark.

This is the Republican Party's national headquarters. :)

The Pentagon Memorial. Sombering.

We went out to Chinese and Mark was soon back to his Asian skills, folding napkins!

The Glen Beck Rally had been the weekend before I arrived. The stage was still up and we wondered if this discarded wedding dress was a part of that rally or otherwise!

In the middle of this pic is a Jewish man with a ram's horn. He blew it three times. Mark chased after him to ask him what he was doing, and why. He said he was calling the nation to repentance!

We visited the Library of Congress with a friend and Mark got a library card!

Lots of cool sayings, and one handsome guy were in D.C.

The artwork in the Library of Congress was amazing and beautiful.
This is on Mark's balcony. I truly loved spending this time with him!
