Conference

Twice a year our church leaders give us inspired direction. Living overseas we had to get the dvd and watch it a week or so after the live event. This year we were blessed to 1. Watch it real time. 2. Watch it in our home!

The first session (there are 5 over the weekend) we went to Kelly's house and decorated eggs afterward. Casey commented that it wouldn't start on time because it never does. Unbeknownst to her - not only would it start on time, but it was live and we lived in the same time zone! (Casey thought it would not start on time because previously we had a tape or dvd of it and starting time was dependent on getting the equipment set up correctly!)

This year we tried something to help the kids listen more to the speakers. They picked a word and everytime that word was used they got a M and M. Jordan picked faith. After 8, and a handfull waiting still to be eaten, he stopped. :)

We loved having it in our home with comfy clothes and couches to sit on! (Or sleep on in Mark's case.)

Casey loved it best because she went to the fire and promptly fell asleep. 

Yes, I let her. It's the most still she has EVER been during church!

The Easter paraphanalia you see scattered around is because it occured on Easter Sunday. After Conference we had friends over for Easter dinner and an egg hunt. Love living in the States for holidays!
