Today while the sun shines...

First, I must say that I am EXTREMELY grateful and thankful that my sister Kelly has allowed us to dwell in her basement for 3 months. I don't know how we could have done it without all her help, wisdom, and accomodations.

Second, I want out of the basement!!!!!!!!!!!

We bid on a house last week. Won the bid, but it wasn't enough to meet the seller's reserve. Bummer. We put an offer in last night, but it wasn't enough. (we only offered 5K less than asking for good grief!) So, tomorrow we're off to look at more houses. Yay. (can you hear my enthusiasm?)

Mark got a good job with ProSol. We'll be living in the Springs for long term. Yay! (that's real enthusiasm.) Marcus will be getting his drivers license soon. Yay! Kids are happy with school. I still like my volunteer job, but am itching to get one that pays. (I'll work on that after we get a home. Nothing like a homeless person looking for a job. Wait - I think Kelly has some cardboard - "Will work for home")

Mark is camping with Jordan tonight. Casey is at the homecoming game with her beau - Josh. He's a cutie. She goes to homecoming dance tomorrow. Funny, Kelly bribed her. She did the dishes in return for picking out Casey's dress. I was very happy with the arrangement. Casey, shopping and I DO NOT mix well. I'll post pics of that later. I'm looking forward to her hair. We're taking her to a salon. This is a girl that doesn't usually brush her hair (she does wash and condition regularly). It will be funny to see her reaction to 'fluffy hair' tomorrow!

That's it for now. I had a few minutes and wanted to update. And for the record - I DID NOT send Amanda a nasty note. I just said it was time to update! You have to admit, her blogs are hilarious!! Thanks Amanda, your blog made me laugh. I needed that today. Love ya!
