We are enjoying America!
I saw an ad in the paper for Machine Gun Shoot and you could rent a machine gun. Fun! (Great blogging material!) So - we went! It was a cold, cold day. Our first introduction to the Dragon Man complex (http://www.dragonmans.com/) were some cars along the entry drive. They looked like we were in for some serious fun - if we took it the right way! (Click on the picture to read the signs of the cars on the left. The cars on the right were Annihilated later in the day.)
I had asked the policemen at my work about this Dragonman. They said he had some pretty cool stuff so I was encouraged. We rented some machine guns and went at it! Jordan had to learn to shoot with his eyes open first. :)

There were some characters there for sure. We were cold, with our jackets on, but this guy (below) wasn't even fazed!!
I was sad we missed the flame thrower. I learned it only threw flames about 20 feet. That's too close for me. Can't they make something that I can torch with from far, far away? Still, it looked cool.
Mark wanted the biggest gun you could hold whilst firing. This is him in his Rambo pose. Funny thing, it only fired one round then jammed. They tried to fix it a few times, but to no use. Then he tried another gun, then another. Finally he had to find one to sit and shoot with. Still, it was pretty satisfying to him to tear it up, finally!
Here are all of us with our guns. Logan and Jordan got to shoot two types of guns. Mark got to shoot 4 or 5 - lucky - or unlucky! LOL I had a sweet MP5 that the special op forces uses. I had shot it before we went to China. It's soooo smooth! If there was ever a use for machine guns, it would be my choice. Jordan had a Tommy gun! How cool!Oh, the big gun on the bottom Mark thinks is a small caliber howitzer (or recoiless rifle). A guy asked me if I would sit on it with him. You had to have 2 people to balance it. I got the biggest gun of the day! (That's me in the green jacket. The guy walked in front of Mark just as he took the pic. I guess he was excited to see it fire!)
At the end of the day the Dragonman pulled out some cars and everyone that wanted to rented a machine gun. On the count of three everyone let loose on the cars that had been prepped with gasoline on top and inside. The picture at the top are of the cars. Needless to say, it was loud. But an unforgettable experience nonetheless! Now, if I could just convince my dad to get a few machine guns... at Thanksgiving...
