Finally! A peaceful activity! Feeding lamas. What a great day with Dad!
On Sunday Jon, Julie, the boys and I went and visited Sarah. Sarah's house is always fun. Check out Jon's blog for the boy's perspective on Aunt Sarah's! Yes, Liz looks a little rough.
Teething Sucks. But moms LOVE motrin!
When I got to Sarah's The kids immediately recognized me. That was nice, since I see them so infrequently. Audrey especially was happy to see me. She gave me a great big hug and said, "Hi Grandma!"
Later she told me that she would be 4 in 5 weeks. Then she would be a teenager.
Just to be sure she knew how much I was in her affections, she gave me another hug later and told me, "Grandma, I love you."
It's nice to reap the love from a great Grandma! Thanks Mom for being such a great Grandma. Audrey, I love you too! (And I'm not even your Grandma!)
When we arrived Hannah asked us how long we were staying. Then she asked again. Later William asked. Okay, this was not just curiosity. According to William, they had a Congratulations party to go to next door and they couldn't go until we left. Time was a'wastin! The reason for the party was the girl next door had congratulated. They REALLY wanted to go to that party! We were gracious guests and only stayed a few hours. They were so happy they posed wonderfully for the family pic (see above) when we left! Thanks Sarah for a great afternoon! Sorry William and Hannah that we stayed so long.
