Asia is not known for it's fashion sense. As Mark and I went shopping last week I was amazed at how juvenile the women's clothes were. So 1980's and 12-year-old! Here's an example of "fashion" on a mannequin at a local Wal-Mart-like store, owned by the French of all people!
Now that's not so bad you think. But it is 'conservative' when compared to others. It's so off it makes your head want to explode thinking they actually wear some of this stuff. Uh Oh, too late.

As is usual in Asia, people only care about their immediate social circle. These mannequins had no sympathy whatsoever for the poor headless mannequins or the fashioned-challenged mannequin across the aisle.

As we can see, the priorities are mixed up over here. Take for example the candy at the check out. Amanda, you would appreciate this whilst shopping with your boys. No need for opening the pack at the check out! These lozenges and gum are much too precious for that! But the Reeses - that's cheap enough to risk it. : )
Happy shopping!
