At long last (and a month late) Mark and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Yep, 20 great years! Instead of going out of town (we didn't have the time or money) we decided to do a mini-vacation in town! Mark - with his connections through work - got us a great hotel room in a 5 star hotel. A suite to be exact! Upon arrival we were greeted by name at the desk and in our room with roses everywhere! (My sweet had told them it was our anniversary.)
On the floor, on the sink, on the bed! Mark accidently walked in some of them before noticing them on the floor. : )
We went out to a Greek restaurant, got ice cream, got a foot massage and then went and saw a movie (Quantum of Solace - not so great) and treated ourselves to the "Gold Class" tickets. Here are our seats! I especially liked the blankets to tuck around my feet.
When we returned to our hotel this is what greeted us...
Rachael had requested earlier to see what was inside a dragon fruit, so I snagged the one from our hotel and brought it home. Here's your pic Rae, not what you would expect from a pink and green fruit!
After our night out on the town we went shopping the next day. Now you should know, I'm not a traditionalist in the strictest sense. I got a perm on my honeymoon! LOL On the second day of our mini-cation we had Mark's eyes checked. He really liked these glasses. I think he looks so sexy!

woah, 20 years......that's craziness. That dragon fruit is weird looking! So jealous of the suite, but congrats! love you!
