Sweet Home Alabama!

Our final stop in the U.S was home - Alabama - and time for the Meyers family reunion! We arrived a few days early, to settle in (and stake our claim to the best sleeping accomodations!). With all 14 children in attendance, and the majority of our spouses and grandkids it was a grand conglomeration of personages!

All the grandkids minus Alex and Jonathan's yet to be born boys!

Since we had so many people, and so many things going on, I've decided to split this trip up into several different posts. First - the babies!

My kids made the comment that everytime we go home we meet new relatives! This year was especially true. There were 3 babies and 1 not-so-baby that we had never met before. Let me introduce them to you. They captured our hearts and will yours too!

From oldest to youngest...

Juliet and Jaxon

Cardon and Ethan

We also had the great occasion to meet 'old' - 'new' relatives. Meaning my paternal cousins which I haven't seen in 18-20 years! David, Mark and Amy, along with Uncle Pat and Aunt Cheryl came up to join the celebration on Saturday. They fit right in with the chaos and it was so wonderful to see them and their families. I'm afraid the only pics I have of them are 'action' shots of their backs, shooting, swinging and such. I guess they'll just have to send me some to put on here!
Later - beach time, slides and farm activities!

Hi Mark and Tracy,

I love your new blog. It is so nice to hear from you. I still live in Arizona with your cousins Kreig and Genesis. I would love to be notified of the next family reunion so that I can attend at least one. It is so nice to see that the family is getting bigger and bigger.
Please take care and God Bless each and everyone of you.
