Marcus Jordan
Benjamin
But then a ranger-type guy came by with a group and informed them that they must get down. Anything above 10 feet required gear and a permit from the park. Oh well!
Later in our visit we went to the Cave of the Winds. It was a fun, small cave. It was nice that Benjamin could probably remember this one. We'd been to Carlsbad (the biggest by far) when Marcus was little. Then the Mark Twain/Hannibal, Missouri cave (all 4 kids then, but Ben was too little to remember), and then another in Utah near Kelly's inlaws (again, Ben was too little to remember). The guides had a great script on this one and kept us laughing despite the lack of cool formations. The biggest hit on this trip were the 'brotherly' necklaces that the boys got. All the same design. And amazing enough, 2 out of 3 of them still have them!
You may have noticed that Casey is missing in these adventures. This is true. She found a soulmate in her cousin, Taylor, and chose to spend this time with her instead of us. She got her hair blow-dryed and her make-up done, twice, whilst we had our adventures. Too bad for her- you can do hair and make-up ANY day, but when can you have a fake bear maul you in a gift shop?!
