More adventures in the holiday season!
Ben's Chili Bowl is iconic in D.C. http://www.benschilibowl.com
When I looked up the hours for after the show, at first I was confused. They're from 10-4. That's 10am to 4am. Then I concentrated a little bit, and figured it out. They are open a LOT! And hours that facilitated our visit after the show!
We visited after a great Christmas Carol show. http://www.factionoffools.org/ccc
We sat by a picture of Bill Cosby - one of our heroes. :)
We had a half-smoke. Will said we were lucky, usually the line is out the door.We walked in and they immediately took us to the back to a table. We had a waitress and everything. The sausages were yummy. The chili, good. Will I be back? - maybe, if I'm in the neighborhood.
And it's cold and there's not much of a line. :)
Ben's Christmas present. We have learned many galaxy names in the past few days. :)
Mark's Christmas present. And my new screen saver.
(Accquired at the Shrek ride at Universal!)
Ben's new furniture. Upgrade almost complete!
Sledding at Uncle Lou's and Aunt Sherri's.
Jordan packed an entire Army duffel bag. I couldn't understand why he needed so much - until he told me he packed snow gear!
Going through Grandma Friend's photos we came across some oldies but goodies.
Ninja Casey.
Engineer Marcus.
The newest Friend family addition, Kendra Brooke,
Brandon's baby girl. With her Nan Sherri.
The first day at Uncle Lou's and Aunt Sherri. The snow did not disappoint.
Aunt Sherri loved her snow dog!
Interesting picture found behind Grandma Friend's picture of Granpa DiPaolo... Patty says she now knows where the Friend butt comes from. :P
Our boys had lots of fun in the WV snow!
Marcus and Jordan joined the Friend family tradition of the Christmas Eve seafood feast!
Uncle Lou, and Will, in the kitchen. :)
On the way home from West Virginia.
Mark's section made this fireplace. They printed out the stone on the bottom, and pieced it together. The flame - an LED computer monitor! He was very proud and excited about it.
Wishing you had a very, Merry Christmas!
