March Madness - 2nd bracket

April Fools! It's April and I'm still blogging about March!

A friend was inspired by the office and put a co-worker's stapler in jello for April Fool's Day.
High-larious! Casey - my Office fan - really appreciated it. :)

Almost didn't have food in the blog! We made chicken with olives. It was olivey. I'm a huge olive fan, but this didn't do much for me. In my opinion olives are best eaten on fingers or in pasta salad with tuna. :)

Check out this gear shift. Reverse, Neutral and Drive. The end. Park is the button in the middle. Weird!

Next weird item on this mystery car - the ignition. It's a button. No keys. They just have be near the car. How near. Not very near. After Mark and Jordan drove the car they put it in  park (pressed the button) and took the fob (keys) into the house. An hour later I walked out and the car was still on. They didn't realize you had to press the power button to turn it off. They assumed when the fobs left the car it would turn off. It didn't. :)

So what is this weird car I'm telling you about?
It's a Nissan Leaf!
Very cool, smooth ride and a LOT of get up and go! Why, you ask, am I talking about a Leaf if I purchased a Civic Hybrid? Because while I was having a navigation system put in my Hybrid I got a rental from the shop. While the Leaf is cool, it's got some drawbacks. For instance, a full charge will only get you 100 miles. Or less if you leave it on when you go inside the house and forget to turn it off. :)

From cool hybrids and electric cars we go to West Virginia tv antennas! Get yourself an antenna for your tv (cuz you don't want to pay for cable) and set it up by the woodpile with one of those tomater cages. Viola! You have yourself HD tv!

The men in our church go to a special conference just for them. While the women make elaborate dinners at home, cart them across the city in crockpots and eat before our conference, the men go out for bbq or cheesecake after theirs! I'm suggesting we borrow their traditions next conference. :)

I went to a hospital for stuff and saw this placard. Cool, Jordan ALREADY has stuff named after him! And he is also already choosy as to who is allowed. :)

That car seems way too difficult for me. I'm old school and stupid.
