No particular order or story this week. Just random thoughts and activities.
We painted the boys' room a few weeks ago. Previously it was purple and yellow with flower stencils on the bottom walls. All the kids helped out.

Benjamin became an expert in taping.

Here is the final painting with awesome curtains that I made. Thanks to my sister, Wendy, who directed me to a great deal on fabric!

Something I hadn't anticipated in owning a dog. A dog in the middle of the floor, surrounded by fluff from his toys.

Who is this handsome man? It's my husband - Mark! When asked why he was growing a beard he responds with the next picture...

"She wanted me to grow one!" He exclaims in his manly, animated fashion. It is true. Whilst in the military he could never grow a beard. That hurdle has been removed now and he is growing one much to my happiness. Isn't he handsome!!

Marcus is in 7th heaven this week as his two best buddies are in town for spring break. In the middle is Nick Beede and on the right is Brian Zimmerman. The boys have kept close ever since we parted ways when we left Beijing. Here they are dressed up for the Black and White Ball this past Saturday night.

This past week Mark's work had a bake sale for an upcoming function. Mark wanted to make his mom's pepperoni rolls. With his and my work schedules I convinced him cookies were MUCH easier. Needless to say, I ended up making the cookies, as Mark work shift ends at 11pm. I made 9 dozen cookies. They were yummy. We were all looking forward to some for breakfast and school as Mark had only requested 3-4 dozen for the sale. When I awoke the next morning all the cookies were gone! Mark had taken them all into work! He promised us that he would make more to replace them. Here are the replacements. Yum!

The room looks great! So do the cookies! Love the beard. It's all good at your house :)
Ha! You know what's hilarious? If you lined up Mark, Tennyson & Michael, they would look like long-lost brothers...with beards and shaved heads! :)
