Christmas is officially over.
Benjamin has cut a sunroof into the gingerbread house. It apparently creates sawdust inside too. :)
A few days before Christmas the we went to help a big charity. Our job was to wrap presents for an estimated 5,000 children. Lots of stuff had been donated and we had to figure out how to package it, then wrap, categorize and label it. We found about 3 cases of Hannah Montana musical boxes. Great! we thought. We'll put some glass necklaces and other little things inside them. As we unpacked more boxes we found some of them had already been packed with goodies. Shot glasses! How appropriate for the season, and for some, the music! LOL

It is our family tradition to open 1 present on Christmas Eve. That present is ALWAYS pajamas. (Makes for good Christmas day pictures!) This year has been really hectic, so the kids helped to pick out their pjs the morning of the 24th. (Oh how we LOVE having a WalMart 5 minutes away!!!) While I was busy Jordan got the guys stuff- read Mario pants. "Are you sure they will fit Benjamin?" I questioned. Since Marcus and Jordan are men sizes, Ben often had to have his pjs tailored if they were to fit -and match. "Yep. We got him a small, Mom!" Ok. Here is the small. Good thing there are brothers that can help lift you to make your pants fit!

Yep. A small will do it, along with pulling them up to my armpits!

As some of you read in the earlier post, we got to go and answer phone calls at NORAD about Santa's progress through the world. Here are Marcus, Casey and Jordan answering the phones. I unfortunately lost my voice and we all agreed I would be pretty scary sounding, so I instead answered emails. We had the last shift, midnight to 3am. That's the shift for pranks we learned. But the kids fared it well and want to do it again next year. I'll see if I can convince the kids to share their favorite stories/calls later.
