What's up?

We are loving and living in the good 'ol U.S. of A. Kids are happy, and many, many new learning experiences are to be had. Benjamin is now going to his first school ever that flies an American flag. Casey and Jordan both remarked how much they liked the fact that they start every day with the Pledge of Allegiance! They are both proud of the fact that they are Americans, and very appreciative for their country. Look for our next post on how appreciative Casey is...

We learned that Benjamin doesn't know the Pledge! So the kids and Mark are helping him. So far this is what he has, "I pledge allegiance to flag of the United States of America. And to the republic who..." With hints from Jordan he can get about 2/3rds more through it.

We had another BIG hail storm!! Notice how Benjamin hasn't quite figured out that you need shoes in hail? :)

The hail was so much, and so big they got quite a harvest with it.

With the crazy weather comes lots of wind. Here Jordan and Ben are making a tail for a homemade kite. They are making it out of plastic grocery bags. Later, after the kite still wouldn't fly they just decided to make the longest rope ever. I love how Jordan's eyes match his shirt. LOL
Our cousin Logan has graciously put up with us living in his basement. As a gracious thank you to Aunt Kelly, I have agreed to update you all on her family too! Logan is handsome, as usual. This is a shot by his personal photographer - Casey.

Logan had 2 major achievements this spring/summer. Breaking a limb twice! Here is the product of much hard work. This episode happened at the skating rink. The first one was from jumping over the fence, off the trampoline. He wanted to see if he could make it. He did, his arm did not - intact. :)

But a broken arm or wrist will NOT deter Logan from his passions - or movement. He is cautious though. Notice how he is keeping his injured limb from danger - way up in the air? What a conscientious guy. Go Logan!
