It's my life...

Nothing exciting happens these days. We are getting ready to move. To make my friend, Erin, feel better and not miss Malaysia so much, I thought I'd share my day with you.

• Got up, got the kids off to school. Worked on the computer a bit.
• Called my sister Kim. Talked in an uncomfortable chair - tied to the phone. Because we use Vonage I don't have a cordless phone so must sit with a short cord.
• Got dressed and went to the minimall. My business cards' print is way too small.
• Drove in 2 circles to get to the right parking spot.
• Mall was closed. Doesn't open until 10 I guess. It was 9:40.
• Drove to the ambassador's. Had a nice farewell luncheon.
• Drove to the grocery store to pick up drycleaning.
• Police had the road barricaded. Apparently the embassy sent an email to everyone AT THE EMBASSY - not the spouses at home- that there was a protest. Barely got out of the area.
• Drove back to the mall. Parked close for a short trip in.
• Gal wasn't back from lunch yet (1:30pm) so got some groceries at another store, killing time.
• Bought a schwarma (gyro) waiting.
• Gal was back, but was swamped at the counter (5 people deep.)
• Went back to car with chocolate chips and stuff.
• Car had a boot lock on it.
• Paid RM 50 of the RM 100 fee. Got unlocked. Whew- the chips didn't melt!
• Drove around in 3 circles to go to another business card shop that was supposed to be MUCH cheaper.
• Shop was closed for lunch 12:30 - 2:30. I need a job at this place.
• Went home. Worked on computer.
• Went back to shop. They only printed ONE kind of card. They didn't have ANY of the promotional items they advertised. Worthless shop.
• Went home.
• Started bread.

Oh, I will be happy for 2-way streets and shops that actually WANT to offer customer service!!
