Jordan likes onions. He doesn't mind cutting them either. This is his strategy.
The kids wiled away their vacation time playing Rock Band. (Yes, the entire family is addicted, even me!) Since you can create and dress up your characters on the game the kids decided to dress up themselves too.
Casey of course is too cool to dress up. She rocks on guitar, bass and mic.
We took the kids to see Bolt over the holidays. Cute movie. When we sat down in the theater Mark ended up sitting in front of a little kid. He kindly scooted down in his seat so that the little one could see. Bump, bump, bump. The kid began to rythmically kick the back of Mark's seat. Patiently Mark sat there. He has kids, he knows this happens. After a while the kicking stopped. Then a hand brushed his head.
Mark has VERY short hair now. I shave it about once a month. It was 'long' at this time, about 1/4 of an inch. No big deal, the kid is just wiggling. Then the hand came back, and Mark sat through the rest of the movie getting his head rubbed by a 4-6 year old. What a nice guy.
Next time you take your kids to the movies, pay attention to more than the screen. You never know what may be going on around you, or to you!
