Casey (my biggest critic on the 'fun-ness' of our activities) actually volunteered that she had fun! Her favorite part - Her hands were sticky after oiling the finished chairs, and stuck to everything. Go figure. That would never be something that I would plan for!
Jordan videoed a lot, but eventually decided he wanted to help build too!
Even Benjamin joined the fun. That's one of the side benefits of having all your siblings in Youth activities, you get to go along! Especially since Mom and Dad are the leaders.
The kids at the school were happy we were there. There parents and the school administration were amazed. We had about 25 youth and 8-10 leaders show up for the great event.
